Nationwide Station Restorations
By 1915, there were approximately 300 active Stations between the East, West, Gulf and Great Lakes Coastlines. Originally, it is presumed over 500 were built. There is only a fraction of those historic structures left standing today. Some of the most famously renovated ones have become museums and community learning centers. Others are converted into Inns and restaurants, while a handful exist as private residencies.
